Justin Lum
Assistant Color Guard Director

Mr. Lum has been with the Coppell Color Guard since 2018. During his time here, the color guard has made finals at numerous WGI regional events in both Texas and Oklahoma while also tripling in size. In 2021, the varsity and junior varsity color guards made WGI World Championship Virtual Finals. Mr. Lum has also helped coordinate various visual elements of the JV Marching Band, including the establishment of a JV Marching Band Color Guard program.

When not at CHS, Mr. Lum assists with other independent programs across the country. In 2021 he joined the guard staff for the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps and serves as the Color Guard Caption Manager. He also serves as instructional staff for Mirage, an independent winter guard based in Dallas.
