Mrs. McCutcheon is in her 6th year serving as an Assistant Director for the Coppell High School Band Program. Her duties include teaching both Ninth-grade bands at Coppell's Freshman Center, directing the Coppell JV Marching band, and team-teaching the Varsity Marching Band while assisting with the feeder middle schools. Bands under her direction have received both UIL Marching as well as UIL Concert and Sightreading Sweepstakes. 


Mrs. McCutcheon is a born Texas native and holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Associates in the Arts from Valencia College in Orlando FL. She has also served as a Drum Major for the 10-time World Championship Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. Under her leadership the corps placed 3rd in 2009 and 5th in 2010 at DCI World Championship Finals. Mrs. McCutcheon's professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association. She has also been in association with the Dallas Asian Wind Ensemble where she enjoys her continued love for the Flute. Mrs. McCutcheon resides in Coppell with her husband Greg, and two dogs. The McCutcheons are expecting their first child in April 2024!
